we are in business. We offer our services through
our national network of franchise consultants. When
we speak of our mission we not only refer to the
services we provide to our candidates, but also
the opportunity we offer to the quality franchisors
that we work with.
The franchisors that we work with
depend on us to help them achieve their growth goals.
We depend on them to provide great opportunities
for our candidates to consider. Without this strong
relationship we cannot achieve our goal to help
individuals find the perfect business.
We are always looking for new quality
franchisors to work with. There are many franchisors
that would like to work with us but not all have
the characteristics we are looking for. We are looking
for the quality franchise companies that have an
exceptional opportunity to offer our candidates.

Candidate
Services:
We offer a valuable service to
candidates that are interested in buying a franchise
opportunity but are not sure which opportunity would
be right for them. Our consultants help match them
to the right opportunities that meet their requirements
and then consult with them throughout the validation
process.
We solicit candidates that are
genuinely interested in buying a franchise business
through advertising, networking, professional affiliations,
outplacement seminars and other methods.
One of our Consultants will then
contact them to arrange a meeting, either in person
or over the telephone, to discuss their goals and
desires and get more detailed information about
them and their background in reference to business
ownership. This is accomplished through a series
of questions and answers during a thorough discussion
that could take up to several hours.
We use the information gathered
to develop a model for our candidate that will be
used in evaluating franchises. This unique model
will contain the items they feel are important to
them in a business opportunity. This model will
be used to identify opportunities that meet their
personal requirements.
We will present several franchise
opportunities to them that match their model. We
will then meet with them to discuss these opportunities
and find out if they would like to research any
of the companies further. If so we will introduce
them to the companies that they have expressed interest
in so that they can begin to learn more about them
in greater detail.
We counsel our candidates to conduct
a complete and thorough investigation of any franchise
opportunity that they feel may be right for them.
Though we cannot do this research for them, we will
assist and guide them throughout this process. We
also can help our candidates locate financing sources,
franchise attorneys, CPA's and other resources they
may need.
Franchisor
Services:
The Franchising Source offers a
risk free, cost effective way for franchisors to
grow their business incrementally along with their
other recruiting efforts. We are only paid a referral
fee if one of the candidates we refer buys a franchise.
The candidates that we refer to
our franchise companies are highly qualified. We
have spent hours with these candidates pre-screening
and qualifying them. Our candidates are financially
qualified, they are serious about buying a franchise
and they have a strong interest in finding out more
about the franchises we refer them to.
Franchisors with excellent systems
for communicating and following up with our candidates
and consultants, will have a great deal of success
converting the candidates that we refer to them
to franchisees. By referring the best candidates
to the best franchisors we have developed a win-win
system for all parties.
Franchisor
Qualifications:
We have found that franchisors
must have certain characteristics in order for us
to have a successful relationship with them. Listed
below are the characteristics we are looking for
in new franchise companies interested in working
with us.
Quality
of the Concept:
We are interested in franchisors that have a proven
track record and a business model that is well defined
and predictable.
Communication:
The franchise companies we work with must have a
very responsive communication system for working
with prospective franchisees we refer to them.
Validation:
The franchise business must validate well with existing
franchisees. When our candidates call the franchisees
to validate the business they will need to get generally
positive feedback or they will not move forward
with the opportunity.
Income
Potential and Return on Investment:
New franchisees must be able to make a reasonable
return in a reasonable period of time. Though we
never discuss income or investment return numbers
with our candidates, they will be seeking this information
from franchisees when they are validating the opportunity.
Your opportunity must be competitive with the industry.
